Intermediate WWSUP

What is it all about?

This level marks your transition from just "getting through" a rapid to paddling with genuine style and finesse. We’ll work with a "critical eye" on your technique and river reading skills help you connect with the river carry momentum through turns and across complex eddy lines in a Grade 3 enviroment.

After a few session you will come away as the most confident and capable person in your paddling group.

Become consistent and stylish in you grade 2/3 paddling.

Working towards your WWSUP Leader then this is the level you should be paddling at.

What to Expect

We will develop your paddling at a G2+/3 level, setting you challenges on the river that will push your river running tactics.  Working on efficent river reading to use the river rather then working against it.

With focuses of Safety, leadership and group management.

At this level we will open the leash safety discussion.

Why book with TayloredOutdoors

Hi, I'm Rich the owner of Taylored Outdoors

I'm a White Water SUP Coach with over three years of experience paddling rivers across the UK. During that time I've explored everything from classic white water runs to being part of teams completing first SUP descents on rivers in Scotland. In 2025, I joined an expedition to Nepal, paddling some of the world's most spectacular white water and gaining invaluable experience in big-water environments.

For the past year I've been coaching paddlesports throughout the Scottish Highlands, helping paddlers build confidence, develop technical skills, and progress safely on moving water. My passion is growing the White Water SUP community across the UK by giving people the knowledge, confidence, and skills to paddle rivers independently and enjoy everything the sport has to offer.
