Bookings Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received.

  • Full payment or a deposit may be required to secure your place.

  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and may change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

Cancellation and Refunds

Skills courses + Experainces

  • If you cancel your booking:

    • More than 7 days before the activity – full refund or transfer to another date.

    • 48 hours to 7 days – 50% refund.

    • Less than 48 hours – no refund.

Tours and Retreats

  • All deposits are Non-refundable

  • If you cancel your booking:​

    • More that 8 weeks prior -  full refund 

    • 4 - 8 weeks - 25% refund.

    • Less than 4 weeks - No Refund

  • If Taylored Outdoors cancels due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or alternative date / session type.

Participant Responsibility

  • Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by guides or instructors. Failure to do so could result in you being asked to leave the course early. 

  • You must inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations before the activity.

  • Participants take part in outdoor activities at their own risk.

Safety

  • Taylored Outdoors reserves the right to refuse participation if someone appears unfit, under the influence of drugs/alcohol, or behaving dangerously.

  • All safety equipment provided must be used as instructed.

Weather and Conditions

  • Outdoor activities are inherently effected by the weather and enviroment

  • Taylored Outdoors may modify or cancel activities if conditions are unsafe. We may offer similar and alternative activaties in place of refund or alternative date.  

Photogrpahy and Media

  • Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during activities for marketing and social media.

  • Please inform us before the activity if you do not wish to appear in photos.

Liability

  • Taylored Outdoors holds appropriate insurance but cannot be responsible for personal injury, death, loss, or damage to personal equipment unless caused by negligence.

  • Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Emergency contact details

  • Relevant medical information for safety during activities

  • Booking + Payment details

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Manage bookings

  • Contact you about your activity

  • Ensure participant safety

  • Send occasional updates about future trips or events (only if you opt in)

Data Storage

  • Your personal data is stored securely and only kept for as long as necessary to manage bookings and meet legal obligations.

Sharing Information

  • We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties unless required by law or necessary to run an activity (for example, booking systems or payment providers).

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Request corrections

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications
